Is the equipment safe for school environments?
Yes! Our Falcon LUX system uses 100% eye-safe infrared technology—the same technology used in a standard TV remote. There are no projectiles, no mess, and no physical contact required. Our inflatable Vortex Bunkers are soft-edged and safe for use in gymnasiums, hallways, or outdoor athletic fields without risking damage to your facilities.
Can the laser harm your eyesight?
No, the “laser” in is completely safe for eyesight. Our equipment doesn’t use actual lasers that emit harmful light. Instead, it uses infrared (IR) light, similar to what’s found in TV remote controls, to transmit signals between sensors.
This IR light is non-visible and low-powered, posing no risk to eyes or health. Our laser tag blasters are designed and tested to meet strict safety standards, ensuring a fun and worry-free experience for players of all ages.
How many students can play per hour?
Our high-capacity rotation system is designed for large groups. We can effectively rotate 100+ students per hour by running structured, fast-paced missions. We handle all the transitions and team rotations so your staff and volunteers can focus on enjoying the event.
Do you accept School Purchase Orders and are you insured?
Absolutely. We work with school treasurers and PTO boards. We accept School Purchase Orders (POs) and can provide a W-9 upon request. Additionally, Indy Blast LLC is fully insured with commercial general liability insurance specifically for mobile entertainment, and we can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming your school or district as additionally insured.
Can you set up indoors if it rains on our Field Day?

Do you offer "Glow-in-the-Dark" or Night missions? (The "Cool" Factor)
Absolutely. Most After Proms take place in dimmed gymnasiums or at night. Our Falcon LUX taggers and Vortex Bunkers feature integrated LED lighting that looks incredible in low-light environments. We can also provide uplights to help turn your gym into a glowing tactical battlefield.
Is this a safe, supervised activity for an all-night event?
Safety is our #1 priority for late-night events. Our professional game coaches manage the entire experience, ensuring students follow all safety rules. Because our gear uses 100% eye-safe infrared technology (no projectiles, no mess), it is the perfect high-energy, “substance-free” activity to keep students safe and engaged on-campus.
How much space do you need in a gym or cafeteria?
We are highly flexible. A standard high school basketball court is the “Gold Standard” and allows for a massive tactical layout, but we can also set up in half-gyms, large cafeterias, or wide hallways. We provide all the inflatable cover (Vortex Bunkers), so we can turn almost any indoor space into a professional arena.
